Dear Friends,

As many of you know, Evan Pattison, a nine-year old boy from the Cleveland autism community, was struck by a car on Wednesday. He is in critical condition at Rainbows Babies and Children and has suffered traumatic brain injuries. Evan is a determined and strong willed little boy and we are hopeful that he will pull through this. People from around the world have been praying for Evan and his parents feel so blessed to have received such love and support from family, friends and the autism community.

Many people have asked how they can help and one of the things that we can do at this point is raise money for Evan's grandparents to come in town from Hungary. In attempt to bring the extended family members to Evan and his parents during this difficult time, we have started a fundraising effort and are kindly asking for your support. Any additional money raised will be used to provide assistance to the family to relieve some of the financial burden that accrues from loss of work and medical expenses.

We have set up a fund at Fifth Third called "Evan Pattison Benefit Fund." You can go into any Fifth Third branch in Northeast Ohio or Pennsylvania to give a monetary donation or send donations to STEPS at 21337 Drake Rd. Unit A, Strongsville, OH 44149. Checks should be made payable to Evan Pattison Benefit Fund.

Evan is a sweet little boy and has been blessed with 2 wonderful parents that have given so much to the autism community. It is now our turn to give back to them. Thank you in advance for your support and continued prayers for Evan's full recovery.
